Episode 74: [CLIENT SPOTLIGHT] From self-doubt to spotlight. Nathalie’s journey to becoming a published author and speaker w/ Nathalie Filmon

What does it really take to bring a deeply personal project into the world? In this intimate conversation, my client Nathalie Filmon opens up about the emotional journey behind her children’s book I'm Unique and You Are Too—and how our work together was the catalyst that helped her move from idea to publication.

From feeling isolated and unsure to stepping into visibility with clarity and purpose, Nathalie shares how having the right support changed everything. A powerful story of courage, creation, and healing you won’t want to miss.

Join me and Nathalie Filmon as we talk through all the details of her journey.

Meet Nathalie Filmon

After a 20-year career in marketing and advertising—split between Paris and New York—Nathalie made the life-changing decision to have a child on her own, using sperm donation and surrogacy in the United States. She is now the proud mother of a daughter.

When searching for books to help explain her daughter’s unique conception story in a lighthearted and age-appropriate way, Nathalie quickly realized how few resources existed—especially those that reflected the realities of solo parenting.

Inspired by this gap, she decided to write her own. Her story speaks to a growing number of families created through non-traditional paths, made possible by the evolving landscape of assisted reproductive technology. Through her book, she hopes to spark more open, inclusive conversations around the many ways families are formed today.
